A container is holding 2 1/3 liters of water.only 2/5 of the container is filled.how much will the whole container hold?

First, find out how many liters are in 1/5 of container. 

(2 1/3)/2 = 1.166667 litres 

In 5/5 segments, we multiply 1.166667 x 5 
= 5.833333 liters in the entire container.
