C9H8O4 + H2O ---->  CH3COOH  + C7H6O3

1 mole of aspirin  gives 1 mole of  ethanoic acid.

Molar mass of aspirin = 180 gmol-1.

So the mass of ethanoic acid formed = 18/180 == 1/10 of a mole.

= 60 / 10 = 6 grams.
